Bud Cummins, the attorney for the family, said that the fallout from the raid was particularly difficult for them. Cummins said that while the loss of a loved is always painful, the suddenness of the raid and the lack explanation of why it happened made the situation even more difficult for the family. “It is difficult to convince me there was any reason to come to a private residence at 6 am, 45 minutes before the first light of day, more than an hour before sunrise under these facts and conditions.” However, he added that ATF has discretion in determining how to execute search orders. Cummins stated that, “especially in light of the type of investigation they were conducting, they suspected that this person had crossed a boundary between being a citizen who was entitled to buy and sale guns into a situation where he should’ve legally obtained a federal firearms licence.” He also said that he thinks the ATF could’ve handled the response to the crimes differently. Cummins stated that, if they felt strongly that he violated the law, they could have sent him a letter telling him that he was in breach and to get a licence. “They could have called him or called his lawyer and had him come in.” Cummins believes that the tactics they chose were “outrageous.”
“The tactics used by ATF to execute this warrant are outrageous, especially for the level of accusations, the alleged violation, and the other facts about their knowledge of this individual, his patterns, and employment. “There’s no excuse for it,” he said. Cummins believes that the government should be held accountable for their actions. Cummins said, “I don’t know what will happen in the future but the family deserves to be informed of all the facts. I don’t think any citizen would tolerate or expect this kind conduct if it were to happen to them.” Cummins and the family are still working to determine the best way to bring justice. So Bet-David invites Weiner to his show and proceeds with telling him that he is known for texting teenage girls. Epic. Tell him to his face. Let’s face it, if your name is Tony Weiner, you might want to avoid committing sex crime. I don’t really know, but it seems like a good idea. He’s the laptop sexting teenager guy, but isn’t that a crime? I’m not a criminal prosecutor but isn’t texting teenage girls about your Ween-Ween illegal? But I digress. Bet-David calls out his reputation, but it’s not the point where things go wrong. Weiner frightens out the moment Bet-David asks him about the Clinton Kill List. Then, he goes into a complete meltdown. You can see him visibly shaken and viscerally reacting. Bet-David is never fazed, he stays firm, he’s calm and cool, and he has full control of the conversation. I can’t speak on behalf of everyone, but I thought Bet-David’s answer was solid and posed a question many of us were thinking. Weiner’s meltdown, however, was highly suspect. Danny Ferguson was named as a defendant in the Paula Jones case along with Bill Clinton. Kathy Ferguson could have been a witness who corroborated Paula Jones’ story. Bill Shelton, Arkansas State Trooper, and fiancee to Kathy Ferguson. He was critical of the suicide verdict of his fiancee and found dead in June 1994 from a gunshot injury.
