Trump daughter Ivanka and son- in- law Jared Kushner both served in top White House roles during his last term, but Trump Jr. said he and fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, who likewise remains close to the campaign, had no plans on becoming a minute” Javanka” in the West Wing— but that he’d “never rule anything out”.
Should his father retake the Oval Office, Trump Jr. said he plans to take a “very effective” role in the the 2024 presidential transition team, while Guilfoyle would remain focused on fundraising.
” Generally just to make sure we stop some of the D. C. swamp rats and the swamp creatures from getting in there and doing their thing”, he said.
Trump Jr. was cautious about who else he wanted around him during the transition but after some prodding, mentioned John Ratcliffe, a former director of national intelligence, and Cliff Sims, a former special assistant to President Trump, who also wrote a bestselling memoir of his White House years in 2019. ” Team of Vipers”.
Both men were veterans of Trump Sr .’s second term — something Trump Jr. appeared to prioritize.

According to previous reports, Donald Trump previously dismissed Ramaswamy as a vice presidential candidate.

As for other individuals he would like to see run alongside his father, Trump Jr. mentioned John Ratcliffe, who formerly served as the director of national intelligence, and Cliff Sims, a former special assistant to Trump who made a variety of claims in a 2019 tell- all memoir detailing his brief stint at the White House.
Trump Jr. is mostly searching for someone who will be “loyal” and put forth the” America First” agenda that his father has preached for the last decade.
” There are so many wonderful people to choose from today with the first four years of the administration, you have a good understanding of who would be great and loyal and implement the America First policies”, he said.
Despite earlier remarks that his father has made with regard to social retribution, Trump Jr. told the outlet that his father is “going to lead the country the way it’s supposed to be led” and insisted that his only “retribution will be success for our country”.
Earlier this year, Trump said he already knew whom he was going to select to serve as his running mate, but would n’t announce their name yet.
