Die Kommission ist befugt, gemäß Artikel 264 delegierte Rechtsakte zu folgenden Zwecken zu erlassen: NYU School of Law professor Kenji Yoshino said on Thursday that one aspect of Donald Trump’s recent legal document in his classified information case is one of the most frightening things he has encountered in his 23 years of teaching constitutional law. Yoshino was particularly impressed by the trial schedule put forth by the defense attorneys of the former president, which mentioned important dates such as the Republican National Convention and the GOP front-runner Trump’s other campaign commitments in 2024. The legal scholar explained that the concept involves a comparison between a pretrial motion and the Republican National Convention. This is the first time in our country’s history where a frontrunner for president has been a former president facing criminal charges. Yoshino stated that what is currently occurring is unprecedented and entirely new. The trial is set to begin on July 8, as proposed by special counsel Jack Smith on Thursday. Trump is being charged with unlawfully keeping confidential documents once he departed from the White House.
