[[{“value”:”A New York appeals court reduced President Trump’s$ 454 million to$ 175 million bond as a big win this morning.
While the bond should be ZERO, President Trump’s legal team had previously asked for the appeal bond to be set at$ 100 million.
The court halted the trial for ten days, giving Trump time to pay the bond.
This ruling comes on the same day as Leticia James might have begun seizing Donald Trump’s real estate and assets…

More information on the significant victory for President Trump can be found on CNBC:
Donald Trump’s huge civil business fraud judgment was put on hold for ten days by a New York appeals court on Monday, and the bond amount that he will be required to post was quickly reduced to$ 175 million in order to extend that ruling.
The judge’s decision came the same day that Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, could begin seizing the former president’s bank accounts and real estate assets to satisfy a$ 454 million and rising judgment against him for failing to obtain an appeal bond.
According to the order issued by the five-judge panel in the administrative division of the Manhattan Supreme Court, James is currently prevented from doing so.
Trump in a social media post said he would” post either a bond, similar securities, or cash “in the fresh amount set by the appeals court.
He had raged before on Monday in a Truth Social post that he might be forced to sell his “babies” — real estate assets to contest the judge’s ruling that he and other defendants have lied about getting loans while obtaining real estate. He had previously raged in a Truth Social post that he had argued that he might be forced to sell them to satisfy the judgment.
Trump’s lawyers previously asked that the appeal bond in the case be set at$ 100 million.
The appeals court decision was also covered by ABC News ‘ comments:
Former US President Donald Trump can post a lower bond to cover his$ 464 million civil fraud judgment, according to a New York appellate court ruling.
The Appellate Division, First Department said Trump can post a bond” in the amount of$ 175 million” to cover the judgment.
Trump’s attorneys had argued obtaining a bond for the entire amount of$ 464 million was a” practical impossibility.”
Additionally, the panel of five judges opted to put off the$ 464 million judgment’s enforcement by ten days.
The court’s decision comes as Trump and his sons have a Monday deadline to pay or secure a bond, or Letitia James could start the legal battle to seize the former president’s valued possessions.
It is stated in the two-page order that “it is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of staying enforcement of those portions of the Judgment ( 1 ) ordering disgorgement of$ 464, 576, and 230.62, conditioned on defendants-appellants posting, within ten ( 7 ) days of the date of this order, an undertaking in the amount of$ 175 million dollars.”
Trump thanked the administrative court for the decision, speaking to reporters during his appearance on Monday at a hearing in his hush money legal case.
Trump remarked,” I greatly respect the decision of the Appellate Division, and I’ll post either$ 175 million in cash or bonds or security or whatever is necessary very quickly within the ten days, and I thank the Appellate Division for acting quickly,” Trump said.
” We got what we wanted, “one source nearby to Trump told ABC News.

CNBC has more information on President Trump’s big win:
A New York appeals Court on Monday paused a massive civil fraud judgment against Donald Trump for 10 days — and reduced sharply to $175 millions the bond amount that he will need to post in order to obtain a prolonged stay of this award.
The decision came on the same day that New York Attorney General Letitia Jim could begin seizing the former President’s real estate and bank accounts in order to satisfy a $454-million and rising judgment, after he failed obtaining an appeal bond.
James is currently prevented from doing this due to an order by the five-judge panel of the Manhattan Supreme Court’s appeals division.
In a post on social media, Trump said that he would “post a bond, securities equivalents, or cash” to the new amount set forth by the appeals courts.
He had earlier Monday raged on Truth Social that he may be forced to sell “babies” – real estate assets – to satisfy the judgement while he appeals the judge’s verdict stating that he and others fraudulently inflated the stated value of property while obtaining loans.
Trump’s attorneys had previously requested that the appeal bond be set at $100,000,000.
ABC News also commented about the appeals court decision:
A New York appellate judge has ruled that the former president Donald Trump may post a lower bail to cover his $464,000,000 civil fraud judgment.
The Appellate Department, First Department, said Trump could post a bond in the amount of “$175 million” for the judgment.
Trump’s lawyers had claimed that obtaining a bond in the full amount of 464 million dollars was “practically impossible.”
The panel of five judge also decided to delay the enforcement of the $464million judgment by 10 day.
The ruling came as Trump and sons were facing a deadline Monday to pay or secure an bond, or risk the New York Attorney General Letitia launching the process of seizing prized assets of the former president.
“It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of staying enforcement of those portions of the Judgment (1) ordering disgorgement to the Attorney General of $464,576,230.62, conditioned on defendants-appellants posting, within ten (10) days of the date of this order, an undertaking in the amount of $175 million dollars,” the two-page order said.
Trump thanked the court of appeals for its ruling when he addressed reporters Monday during his appearance at a hearing on his criminal case involving hush money.
Trump said, “I respect the decision of Appellate Division and I will post either $175,000,000 in cash, bonds, or security, or whatever is needed very quickly within 10 days. I thank the Appellate Division acting quickly.”
ABC News reported that a source close to Trump said, “We got what we wished.”
