A new HBO documentary, titled” Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids ‘ TV”, apparently outlined two of the offenders.
The New York Post said the documentary features testimonials from child actors who allege they were subjected to abuse on the sets of Nickelodeon shows such as” All That”,” The Amanda Show”,” Drake &, Josh” and” Victorious”.

Ezell Channel, hired as a production assistant at the cable channel after having a child sex offense conviction, was later detained for sexually assaulting an underage teen at the studio, and Jason Handy, a Nickelodeon production assistant who had intimate contact with a nine-year-old girl.
Marty Weiss, a talent manager who placed clients on top Nickelodeon shows, was afterwards convicted for’ sexual acts’ with a 12- year- older male client.
And Cody Longo, a soon star of the TeenNick TV series Hollywood Heights, admitted to sexual assault on a 9-year-old girl in Colorado two years later.
The original Nickelodeon dialogue coach and actor Brian Peck was sentenced to a minimum-term of 18 years in prison, according to the HBO documentary Quiet on Set: the Dark Side of Kids TV.
He went on to work at Disney after his conviction.

Additionally, the HBO documentary revealed that Jason Handy, a production assistant for Nickelodeon who described himself as a “pedophile, full blasted,” sent a photo of himself masturbating to Brandi Carlile, an actress who had previously guest-starred on” The Amanda Show.”
A 9-year-old child was charged with sexual acts on him, distributing sexually explicit material, and violating a misdemeanor for child sexual exploitation in 2004.
He received a six-year prison sentence.
He was charged with obscene liberties with a child and sex offender registry violations once more after his release.
Handy is still imprisoned in a national prison. His 2038 release date has been specified.
Marty Weiss, a 58- year- ancient talent manager who steered clients to Nickelodeon, was convicted of sexual acts with a 12- year- older male client.
A previous client reported to the police in 2012 that he was sexually assaulted by Weiss between 30 and 40 times over the course of three years when the boy was about 11 years old.
Weiss spent less than six months in prison.
Cody Longo, the star of” Hollywood Heights”, a show that aired on TeenNick in 2012, was arrested for reportedly sexually assaulting a 9- year- old girl in Colorado in 2019.
In 2021, Longo entered a lesser plea.
