Per Fox News:
On Tuesday, former president Donald Trump won the Democratic presidential primary contest in five states.
The Associated Press projected that the previous president would score victories in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Kansas and Ohio.
On behalf of businessman Bernie Moreno, the candidate the former president endorsed in the Buckeye State’s dynamic GOP Senate primary, Trump campaigned in Ohio on Saturday.
Trump’s victories come a week after he clinched the 2024 Republican presidential nomination after outsmarting the competitions next week.
Hours before Trump became the GOP presumptive political nominee, President Biden clinched the Democratic nomination, to become his party’s 2024 presumed presidential nominee.
At this summer’s Democrat and Republican national nominating conventions, Biden and Trump will formally become the big party nominees.

Axios reports:
Trump continued to exert his influence on the GOP by winning down-voting victories for candidates he supported.
The Ohio Republican Senate primary, which was at the heart of the wider conflict between MAGA and what remains of the GOP establishment, was most notable of those. Bernie Moreno, a Cleveland businessman who was expected to win on Tuesday, was endorsed by Trump.
In November, Moreno will then face Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown, a crucial decision regarding which party will hold the Senate the following year.
In a fierce election in a northwest Ohio congressional district, it was anticipated that erstwhile state legislator Craig Riedel would defeat Trump-backed state representative Derek Merrin.
In California, Trump- endorsed state Rep. Vince Fong was heading for a May runoff in the special election to replace former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy ( R- Calif. ), AP projected.
Fong, competing with eight different candidates, did never earn a majority of the vote to avoid a runoff. He’ll likely face Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux ( R ) or Marisa Wood ( D), a teacher.”}]] [[{“value”:”

The Associated Press predicted that the former President would win in Arizona, Florida Illinois, Kansas, and Ohio.
Trump campaigned for Bernie Moreno in Ohio on Saturday. Moreno is the businessman he endorsed as the Republican candidate in Ohio’s highly competitive GOP Senate primary.
The victories come just a week after Trump clinched the Republican presidential nomination for 2024 after sweeping the contests last week.
Hours before Trump was named the GOP’s presumptive nominee for president, President Biden secured the Democratic nomination to become the party’s presumptive nominee for 2024.
Biden and Trump are the official major party nominees for the Democratic and Republican National Nominating Conventions this summer.

Axios reports:
Trump’s influence in the GOP was still evident with the victories of candidates he endorsed at the lower levels of elections.
The Ohio Republican Senate Primary was a contest that was at the heart of the larger battle between MAGA, and what remained of a GOP Establishment. Trump endorsed Cleveland-based businessman Bernie Moreno who was expected to win the election on Tuesday.
Moreno is now set to face off against Democratic Sen. Sherrod in November. This contest could determine which party controls control of the Senate next year.
Derek Merrin, a state representative backed by Donald Trump, was also projected to be the winner in a close race in a district of northwest Ohio against former state legislator Craig Riedel.
AP predicted that in California, Trump-endorsed state Rep. Vince Fong would be heading to a runoff election in May for the special election replacing former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy(R-Calif.).
Fong, who was competing against eight other candidates, failed to earn a majority vote in order to avoid a second round. He will likely face Tulare County sheriff Mike Boudreaux, a Republican, or Marisa wood (D), a former teacher.
