According to Collin Rugg, a chair apparently flew by while the police were standing outside the bar and crashing into the ground.

Wallen was accused of committing one count of disorderly conduct and three counts of foolish endangerment.

According to an arrest report, some Nashville police officers were reportedly standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Broadway when a chair fell from the ceiling, landing only feet away from them, according to WTVF. On Friday, April 5, the Eric Church-backed bar really opened its doors for the first time.
Staff at the venue subsequently told police that Wallen had tossed the chair from the sixth floor, WTVF reported, citing the police document.
Additionally, according to the arrest report, police reportedly viewed video that showed Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof” according to WTVF.

According to WTVF, an arrest report stated that some Nashville police officers stood in front of Chief’s Bar, on Broadway, on Sunday night, with a chair falling from above and landing just feet from them. The Eric Church-backed Eric Church bar opened its doors on Friday, April 5, for the first ever time.
WTVF reported that the staff at the venue told police Wallen threw the chair from the 6th floor, citing a police document.
According to WTVF, the arrest report stated that police also viewed a video showing Wallen “lunging an object over a roof” and throwing it.
