According to a tracker from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill, Trump has now surpassed the delegates he needs to win the Republican nomination for 2024, and there are additional 67 delegates up for grabs in the Keystone State’s Tuesday night contest.
Across the aisle, President Biden is set to pick up another win in Pennsylvania’s Democratic primary. Although neither candidate for president was anticipated to face significant opposition, Biden is possible to receive a protest vote as some Democrats voice their disapproval of the administration’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war. Additionally, Trump may receive some protest votes for his ex-rival Nikki Haley.
As the race gears up for a dynamic rematch of the pair’s 2020 showdown, polling averages from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill show Trump with a slender 0.4 point lead over Biden in the battleground state.
Voters in Pennsylvania are casting ballots Tuesday in the race for Sen. Bob Casey’s ( D- Pa. ) seat in the upper chamber, as well as several closely watched House contests. The state will likely have a significant influence on the election of the second presidential and congressional candidates.

After winning their undisputed primary on Tuesday, NBC News projects, Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick will formally square off in Pennsylvania’s high-stakes Senate race this fall.
Casey, a three- term incumbent, and McCormick, who rallied the Pennsylvania GOP establishment behind his candidacy after announcing his bid last year, will presently sprint toward the November election in one of the most deeply contested, expensive Senate races in the country. Only a select few could change the lower chamber of Congress’s legislature.
For McCormick, a hedge fund executive and former official in President George W. Bush’s Treasury Department, his 2024 run comes on the heels of a missed 2022 bid against celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz, who narrowly defeated him in a Democratic primary with former President Donald Trump’s backing. In the end, Oz lost to Democrat John Fetterman in the general election.

According to a tracker by Decision Desk HQ/The Hill, Trump has already secured the delegates he requires to secure the Republican nomination in 2024. Another 67 delegates are up for grabs at Tuesday’s contest in Keystone State.
Biden will win the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania. Biden will likely see protest votes as some Democrats express their frustration with the administration for Biden’s handling the Israel-Hamas conflict — and Trump may see protest votes for Nikki Haley, his former rival.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ polling averages show that Trump has a 0.4-point lead over Biden as the race prepares for a competitive rematch between the two in 2020.
Pennsylvania voters will cast ballots in several closely watched House races as well as the race for Senator Bob Casey (D-Pa. )’s seat in the upper chamber. The state will play a crucial role in determining which party controls both the White House and Congress in 2019.

NBC News predicts that Democratic Sen. Bob Casey, and Republican Dave McCormick will face off this fall in Pennsylvania’s high stakes Senate race after winning their uncontested primary elections on Tuesday.
Casey, the incumbent senator who has served three terms, and McCormick – who rallied the Pennsylvania GOP’s establishment behind him after announcing last year that he was running – will sprint to the November election. This is one of the most bitterly competitive and expensive Senate races in America. This race is one of a few that could tip the power balance in Congress’ upper chamber.
McCormick is a hedge fund executive, former official of President George W. Bush’s Treasury Department and a former official at the Bush White House.
