Exit Stage Mike: It’s time for Speaker Johnson to step aside 

Johnson should not participate in the self-destruction that the House Republicans are planning. He should instead follow the example set by his predecessor McCarthy.

 Johnson should follow the example of his predecessor McCarthy and play no part in it, regardless of what self-destruction the House Republicans have planned. Johnson should follow the example of his predecessor, McCarthy, and assume no part in it, whatever self-destruction the House Republicans have planned.
