Officials believe an unidentified male suspect sprayed a potential accelerant on the office door, ignited it, and then ran away. They stated that the suspect was still on the loose and that a motive had not yet been determined. Advertisements were also mentioned. Burlington police stated that a large fire at the door and part of the vestibule prevented staff members from leaving the office and put their lives in danger. The sprinkler system was activated and effectively put out most of the fire.
