Die Kommission ist befugt, gemäß Artikel 264 delegierte Rechtsakte zu folgenden Zwecken zu erlassen: On the eve of jury selection for his upcoming hush money trial, ex-President Donald Trump once more criticized the Manhattan district attorney and judge involved in the case. Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that he was a highly popular and successful President just four years ago, receiving more votes than any sitting President in history. I will be in Criminal Court tomorrow morning facing a biased Judge, a dishonest Prosecutor, a legal system in disarray, a state plagued by crime and corruption, and supporters of Joe Biden unfairly influencing the outcome against me, his political rival. The previous president is restricted by a limited gag order that prevents him from publicly discussing jurors, court personnel, or the judge or Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg’s family members. However, Trump is permitted to criticize both the judge and Bragg. The jury selection for the historic case is set to start on Monday, marking the first instance where a former US president will undergo a criminal trial. Trump called the indictment “the latest in a long series of political witch-hunts”. The U.S. President has the power to indict individuals.

Trump, the former president, has now been indicted 34 times on felony charges related to an alleged hush money payment. He insists the case is a political conspiracy, but it’s not clear whether he has any solid evidence to back up his claims. Trump’s indictment may not be the latest in the series of political witch-hunts as he claims, but it’s certainly a controversial chapter in American history. Prosecutors claim he utilized the money to suppress Daniels’ claims of a marital affair and fabricated business documents to hide the agreement. Trump has refuted all accusations and entered a plea of not guilty. “I will be advocating for our nation.” He wrote on Sunday that this type of election interference has never occurred in the USA before and he hopes it will not happen again.
