Trump To Decide On VP “Apprentice Style”?

[[{“value”:”President Trump is unlike any other leader the United States has ever had. To be fair, Donald Trump has n’t had as much success and publicity as he has had in his life.
In a recent post, President Trump announced that he will be deciding on his vice president running mate in the 2024 election in an” Apprentice-style” manner.
Trump’s Vice President will be chosen in the” Academy style” of his choosing.

This strategy would be novel in the social world, but it would be on par with President Trump’s television experience. This is done in an effort to narrow down his VP shortlist, as well as to add some suspense and a tactical play to captivate the Republican base.
The novel method would require contestants to go through a number of challenges and evaluations, all of which would be monitored by President Trump himself with an audience of supporters and political analysts.
The developing story is expanded by Trending Politics:
Julia Manchester, a National Politics reporter for The Hill, commented on the development to Fox News, noting that Trump’s penchant for drama and suspense aligns with his supporters ‘ expectations.
” This is no surprise”, Manchester explained. Donald Trump is well-known for his love of drama and suspense. He is aware of how his supporters will enjoy watching that, but they’ll understand how this process will be drawn up.
The Politico adds more:
The campaign has now hired an outside company to conduct interviews and write research proposals. Former first lady Melania Trump, who influenced Trump’s decision to select Mike Pence in 2016, has been kept apprised. And Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. said he speaks with his father often about who is in contention.
While who is up or down evidently changes by the minute, the list has included everyone from Tim Scott and Kristi Noem to Byron Donalds, Elise Stefanik, Tulsi Gabbard and J. D. Vance, whom Trump has called a “fighter”.
Trump frequently asks guests at his Mar- a- Campo club for their opinions on various options and, with a flair for suspense, teases his choices in personal meetings and media interviews, despite saying he does n’t think the vice president matters all that much. The procedure is anticipated to take several months.
” He’s going to draw this out’ Apprentice ‘- style”, said one person close to the Trump campaign who was granted anonymity to speak freely.
The past president has stated that his top priority is selecting someone” who is going to be a great president… in case of emergency.” Trump’s election needs are also taken into account, and having someone to expand his appeal in November is one factor.
President Trump has stated repeatedly that the importance of a vice president is constrained.
He insists that the candidate should be able to serve as president in an emergency despite this stance. However, the Vice President candidate also has the ability to boost his political appeal come November.
While the new” Apprentice Style” approach to picking a Vice President may seem innovative, it could prove to be effective. If this was to succeed, President Trump would go down in history as having altered how we think about the democratic process.”}]] [[{“value”:”

President Trump is the first president of the United States to be elected since 1890. To be fair, Donald Trump is the only president in history to have had as much success and publicity.
In a recent blog post, President Trump announced that he will adopt an “Apprentice style” approach to selecting his running mate for the 2024 elections.

This would be a groundbreaking approach in the political world but it is right on par with President Trump’s television background. This is not just to narrow down the list of his VP candidates, but also to add suspense to the game and to captivate Republican supporters.
The new approach would have contestants go through a series challenges and evaluations. All of this would be monitored and evaluated by President Trump, with an audience of political analysts and supporters.
Trending Politics elaborates on the story:

Julia Manchester, National Politics reporter at The Hill, commented to Fox News on the recent development, noting Trump’s love of drama and suspense, which is in line with his supporters’ expectations.
Manchester explained that “this is not surprising.” “We know Donald Trump loves drama and suspense. He knows his supporters enjoy watching that, so he’ll make sure they understand how long this process will take.

The Politico has more to offer:

The campaign has already hired a firm to prepare research documents and vet candidates. Melania Trump, the former first lady who influenced Trump to choose Mike Pence as his vice president in 2016, was kept informed. Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. has said that he talks to his father often about who is in contention.
The list of candidates has changed from Tim Scott, Kristi Noem, Elise Stefanik to Tulsi Gabrield, J.D., Byron Donalds and Elise Stefanik. Vance, who Trump has referred to as a “fighter.”
Trump, who has said that he does not think the vice president is important, regularly asks his guests at his Mar-a-Lago Club for their opinion about different options. He also teases his choice in private meetings and interviews with the media. The process is expected take months.
“He’s going draw this out Apprentice-style,” said a person close to Trump’s campaign who was allowed to speak freely and anonymously.
Former President Bush said that his top criteria was to pick someone “who will be a good leader in an emergency.” However, Trump is also aware of electoral needs and is looking for someone who can expand his appeal come November.

President Trump has stated that the role of Vice Presidents is of limited importance.
He stresses that the candidate should still be able to assume the role of President in an emergency. The Vice President candidate can also boost his appeal in November.
The new “Apprentice Style”, approach to selecting a Vice-President may seem unconventional but it could be effective. If this works, President Trump will go down in history as the man who changed the political process.
