Bruce Meneley, a previous high-ranking military officer, has been identified as the man who was shot dead by Seattle Police after attempting to meet up with an 11 and 7-year-old.

Meneley served as a captain and doctor at Guantanamo Bay and held important positions with the Navy.
The pedoph*le was arrested during a mortal trafficking/pr*stitution sting in 2017 and charged with s*x crimes.

A little over a year after Meneley retired, he was detained in a individual trafficking sting operation, according to possible documents that FOX 13 Seattle obtained from Kitsap County.
According to the records, Meneley allegedly had unprotected sex with a prostitute for$ 110. But, Meneley was actually talking to investigators posing as sex workers.
Meneley admitted to speaking during the arrest to many other sex workers in the past and to paying for sex at least once more within the next year. Investigators said Meneley’s number popped up in at least two different sting operations, but he was never arrested.
Meneley furthermore informed law enforcement that he had been detained in Texas for a comparable crime. Texas was the next place Meneley was stationed.

According to documents FOX 13 Seattle received from Kitsap County a little over a year after Meneley had retired, he had been arrested in a human-trafficking sting.
Records show that Meneley had taken out money and was expecting to have unprotected sexual relations with a prostitute at a cost of $110. Meneley, however, was actually talking with investigators who were posing as prostitutes.
Meneley confessed to paying for sex more than once in the last year and contacting other sex workers. Investigators say Meneley’s phone number was used in at least two sting operations. However, he wasn’t arrested.
Meneley told investigators that he was arrested in Texas, for a crime similar to the one he confessed to. Texas was Meneley’s last station.
