The working-class people in New York adore the former President, no the dopey liberals who live in the high-rises in downtown Manhattan.
As a past New Yorker, I can confirm that the man has long been regarded as a hero in his home town. Just when he ran for president and the mainstream media launched a planned propaganda campaign against him did attitudes change.
Anti-Trump sentiment was manufactured by the MSM and the elites, and I would n’t even say they changed so much per se.
