Over the past several months, names have been tossed out innumerably, but presumably only four candidates have won the list.
More information is provided by CNBC regarding the possible vice president shortlist:
Republican Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida, J. D. Vance of Ohio and Tim Scott of South Carolina are all” unique guests”. Governor of North Dakota is also in the mix. Doug Burgum, another reported small- lister.
The former president said on Wednesday that he would n’t make his choice until after the Republican National Convention, which starts in Milwaukee on July 15; however, he said he would n’t until the day before the announcement.
Each possible vice president candidate will be in the spotlight at the RNC spring donor retreat in Palm Beach over the weekend.
Each candidate has a chance of running for vice president.
Starting with Governor Doug Bergum, a formidable contender for the position of governor from a powerful to successful businessman.
With Florida’s crucial role in elections, it does n’t hurt that Senator Marco Rubio has a strong veteran presence and is a major player in the foreign policy field.
Senator J. D. Vance has a powerful story as a blue collar worker, who worked his way up as a senator.
Vance is ideal for the Republican Party because of his powerful stance on immigration and trade.
Lastly, Tim Scott, who is the only African American Republican Senator, has a unique perspective on race and financial issues.
Scott has the power to increase appeal to a wide range of voter types.
This weekend will undoubtedly be used by the four Vice President hopefuls to establish themselves and advance above the competition.
