Palestinian group says Education Department has opened probe into discrimination at Columbia

According to Palestine Legal, the Department of Education is investigating anti Palestinian discrimination at Columbia University in light of recent protests. Palestine Legal reported Thursday that the Department of Education announced today that Columbia University is under federal investigation due to anti-Palestinian discrimination, including inviting NYPD officers wearing riot gear in order to arrest Palestinian students and their associates protesting Israel’s genocide against Gaza.

 In response to the latest protests there, the Department of Education is looking into anti-Palestinian discrimination, according to Palestine Legal. Israeli Legal reported on Thursday that Palestine Legal was under investigation for” today @EDcivilrights announced @Columbia is under investigation for anti-Palestinian racism,” including by inviting NYPD officers in riot gear to arrest Arab and connected students in protest of Israel’s genocide in Gaza. In response to the latest protests there, the Department of Education is looking into anti-Palestinian discrimination, according to Palestine Legal.
