RFK Jr. opposes taking down Confederate statues

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., independent presidential candidate, said he opposes efforts to remove statues that honor Confederate soldiers. Kennedy appeared on Tim Pool’s podcast “Timcast IRL”, which aired Friday at the Libertarian National Convention. He said that the 2021 removal from the city of Atlanta of the statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee was a mistake.
