Senate passes FAA reauthorization after DCA slots fight

The Senate completed one of its last legislative priorities in the near future on Thursday, passing a reauthorization for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This was done before the Friday deadline to avoid the program lapse. The measure was approved by 88 to 4. It extends the FAA’s authority for another five years.
