Stormy seas pause construction of Gaza pier, Pentagon says

The Pentagon announced Friday that the U.S. military was forced to pause a project to build a pier to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza due to bad weather. U.S. Central Command officials temporarily halted offshore assembly of a floating pier off the coast Gaza after high winds caused unsafe conditions.

 Due to bad weather, the Pentagon said on Friday that the U.S. military had to halt its plan to build a pier off Gaza to transport charitable supplies.
