Americans split on whether average person should be trusted with firearms: Survey

A new survey shows that Americans are almost evenly divided on the question of whether they can trust the average American with firearms. According to the YouGov survey, 43 percent of respondents believed that an average American could be trusted around a gun. However, 42 percent disagreed. Another 15 percent said they weren’t sure ….

According to the YouGov survey, 42 % of respondents thought the average American could be trusted with a gun, compared to 42 % who said they could n’t.
