Setoodeh is the co-editor-in-chief at Variety and author of the book “Apprentice in Wonderland” which delves into Trump’s post-White House life. Setoodeh mentioned that Joan had revealed she was a Republican during their conversation about her time on “The Celebrity Apprentice”. Trump thought that she possibly belonged to the Republican party. One thing I am sure of is that she voted for me, as she mentioned. Reid responded to the video by pointing out a small issue with Trump’s comments, mentioning that Joan Rivers had passed away before the 2016 election. She also highlighted another part of the interview where Trump seemed to imply he needed to end the conversation to address a foreign policy issue. Trump stated in the recording that he is committing time and effort to the endeavor because he feels the need to recover from his involvement in Afghanistan. Has he caused chaos in Afghanistan.
