From the Associated Press:
In an “emergency” motion filed on Sunday in Houston, trustee Christopher Murray made the first public declaration that he intends to” conduct an orderly wind-down” of Infowars ‘ parent company’s operations and “liquidate its inventory.” A federal judge appointed Murray to oversee the assets in Jones ‘ personal bankruptcy case, but he did not specify a date for the liquidation.
According to Jones, Jones has been posting information about the bankruptcy-related closure of Infowars on his website and radio shows. However, he has vowed to carry on his flamboyant broadcasts in a different way, perhaps via social media. Additionally, he had mentioned that someone else might purchase the business and allow him to continue performing his shows while employed.
Murray even requested that U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez immediately stop the Sandy Hook families ‘ efforts to recover the sum of money Jones owes them. Murray claimed that these efforts would interfere with his plans to dissolve Free Speech Systems, a parent company, and sell off its assets, with the majority of the profits going to the families.

Per CNN:
This is exactly the unfortunate situation that the Connecticut families hoped to avoid when we argued that the Free Speech Systems/InfoWars case should have stayed with the bankruptcy court more than be dismissed, according to Christopher Mattei, an attorney for the Sandy Hook families from Connecticut who were in favor of liquidating the company.
The Connecticut families are disappointed by this attempt to undermine Alex Jones ‘ long-overdue winding down of his InfoWars platform, Mattei said, referring to one group of parents ‘ attempts to pursue FSS assets. They have “led with dignity” from beginning to end to a resolution that is good for all families, and they are glad that the Chapter 7 Trustee has already submitted a motion – with which eight of the nine families concur, urging an equal distribution of the FSS assets.”
Jones, who earlier this month praised the judge’s decision to not liquidate Infowars ‘ parent company, has acknowledged that the broadcasting would likely only continue for a short while.
After the hearing ruling his company’s liquidation, Jones said outside the courthouse,” I’m going to try to move forward and maximize the amount of money we can make at Infowars to finally have a wind-down.””}]] [[{“value”:”

The Associated Press:
In a “emergency motion” filed in Houston on Sunday, trustee Christopher Murray revealed publicly for the first-time that he plans to “conduct a orderly wind-down of the operations of Infowars parent company” and “liquidate its stock.” Murray was appointed by a Federal Judge to oversee the assets of Jones’ personal bankruptcy. He did not provide a timeline for the liquidation.
Jones has said on his radio and web shows that he believes Infowars will continue to operate for several more months before being shut down due to bankruptcy. Jones has promised to continue his explosive broadcasts in another way, perhaps on social media. He had also talked about someone buying the company, and allowing him continue his shows as a staff member.
Murray also asked U.S. Bankruptcy judge Christopher Lopez to place an immediate stop on the Sandy Hook Families’ efforts to collect from Jones the massive amount he owes to them. Murray said that these efforts would interfere with the plans he has to close Free Speech Systems, the parent company in Austin, Texas and sell its assets, with a large portion of the proceeds going to Sandy Hook families.

CNN:
Christopher Mattei said in a statement that “this is exactly the unfortunate situation the Connecticut families hoped for when we argued the Free Speech Systems/InfoWars Case should have remained before the bankruptcy court instead of being dismissed.”
Mattei, in response to the parents who tried to seize FSS assets, said that “the Connecticut families are disappointed” by the attempt to undermine the orderly and long-overdue winding down of Alex Jones’ InfoWars. “They have led with dignity towards a resolution that’s fair for all families and are grateful that eight of the nine family members agree with the Chapter 7 Trustee that a fair distribution of FSS assets is needed.”
Jones, who earlier this month had celebrated the judge’s decision not to liquidate Infowars parent company, has acknowledged Infowars will likely continue broadcasting only for a few months.
Jones said outside the courthouse, after the hearing dismissing the liquidation of his company: “I will try to move forward to maximize the amount we can make at Infowars so that we can then wind down.”
