Trump hush money judge flags Facebook user claiming early knowledge of verdict

The judge overseeing the criminal case against former President Trump for hush money informed the parties on Friday that someone claimed to have had advance knowledge of the verdict. Judge Juan Merchan wrote a letter to Trump’s lawyers and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on May 29, the day that 12 New Yorkers started deliberating.
