Angie Craig (D-Minn.) joined four other Democratic members of Congress in urging Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race after his poor showing in last week’s debate against Donald Trump. I have not taken this decision lightly, but the consequences are too grave to chance another term with Donald Trump as president. Therefore, I urge President Biden to resign. Craig has joined a larger group of Democratic members of Congress in asking for the same thing. A member of the Texas House of Representatives On Tuesday, Lloyd Doggett was the first to argue that the president had not succeeded in reassuring voters or defending his accomplishments. Craig mentioned that if Biden were to withdraw from the race, it could potentially serve as a source of motivation and solidarity for our country.
