Rules For Donald Trump-Kamala Harris Debate Announced

[[{“value”:”The rules for the Donald Trump and Kamala Harris political debate are now available from ABC News.
The discussion will take place on September 10th.
Trump and Harris apparently both accepted the guidelines.
Per 6 ABC:
Two business breaks will be used during the 90-minute debate.
The two seated moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, will be the only people asking questions
Trump won the coin toss and chose the order of the statements according to a coin knock that was pratiquementment held on September 3. The podium placements and the closing arguments were decided by a coin flip on September 3. Harris selected the right podium on the screen ( stage left ) for his final statement.
Candidates will be introduced by moderators
Candidates will appear on opposite sides of the stage when they are introduced, and the former party will be introduced second.
There will be no opening statements, closing statements will be two minutes per candidate
Candidates will remain affixed to the podiums the duration of the debate.
Onstage, props or prewritten notes are not permitted.
No questions or topics will be discussed in advance.
Candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper, and a bottle of water
Candidates will have two minutes to answer questions, two minutes for rebuttals, and one more minute for follow-ups, clarifications, or responses
Candidates ‘ microphones will only be available for the candidate whose turn it is to speak, and they will be muted when they are interrupted by another candidate.
Candidates wo n’t be able to interrogate one another in person.
Campaign staff members are prohibited from interacting with candidates during commercial breaks.
Moderators will work to impose time limits and ensure a civilised discussion.
No audience will be present in the room.

The vice president’s team pushed for a change to the policy that allowed microphones to remain unmuted, but ABC announced on Wednesday that they will just be active when their opponents speak and that they will only be muted when they are not. The same set of microphone regulations were in place as those used by Presidents Biden and Trump during the CNN debate in June.
Second week’s debate will be moderated by ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis and will take place in the the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pa., without an audience. The debate will last 90 minutes, with two corporate breaks included.”}]] [[{“value”:”

ABC News has released rules for the presidential debate between Donald Trump & Kamala Harris next week.
The debate will be held on the 10th of September.
Trump and Harris both reportedly accepted the guidelines.
Per 6 ABC:

The debate will last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks
Only the two moderators seated, David Muir, and Linsey Davies, will be able to ask questions.
On September 3, a virtual coin flip was conducted to determine podium placements, and the order of closing arguments. Trump won the toss of the coin and chose the order in which the statements were made. Harris chose the right podium (stage left) for his last closing statement.
Moderators will introduce the candidates
The incumbent party will introduce the candidates first.
There will be no introductions; closing statements are limited to two minutes each.
Candidates will remain behind podiums throughout the debate
Onstage, props and prewritten notes (such as notes or props) are not permitted.
No topics or questions are shared in advance
Candidates will receive a pen, paper and a water bottle
Candidates will be given two minutes to respond to questions, two more minutes for rebuttals and an extra minute for clarifications or follow-ups.
