Opinion| Following more than two and a half years of participating in an unwarranted investigation of Donald Trump, based solely on false predicates likely constructed under the direction of Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan, the FBI agents involved are expressing their dismay.
Only, it’s not over what you would expect – being assigned to a political witch-hunt.
These sanctimonious agents, who permitted themselves to be converted into political operatives rather than legitimate investigators, expressed their dismay in the New York Times yesterday:
Some of Robert S. Mueller III’s investigators have told associates that Attorney General William P. Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry and that they were more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated, according to government officials and others familiar with their simmering frustrations.
At stake in the dispute — the first evidence of tension between Mr. Barr and the special counsel’s office — is who shapes the public’s initial understanding of one of the most consequential government investigations in American history. Some members of Mr. Mueller’s team are concerned that, because Mr. Barr created the first narrative of the special counsel’s findings, Americans’ views will have hardened before the investigation’s conclusions become public.
Seriously! Well maybe not seriously because not a single one had the balls to identify themselves. They ain’t the brave lawmen they portray themselves as.
From the outset the investigation of Donald Trump was never based on the finding of any legitimate evidence.
Any evidence was likely the result of John Brennan’s orders for CIA assets to “dirty” Trump campaign associates in order to establish a basis for a FISA warrant with which to spy first on Trump’s campaign, and then on President Trump’s White House.
The other effort to sully Trump that was likely initiated by Brennan was to direct another CIA asset, Nellie Ohr, to scour the NSA database for any raw evidence that could be laundered by British MI6 asset, Christopher Steele into an incriminating fantasy that came to be known as the Steele dossier.
While Steele was eventually officially fired by the FBI for leaking to the media, he continued feeding his false narrative to the FBI, unofficially, through Nellie Ohr’s husband, Bruce who was a high-ranking DOJ official.
But it was never about the truth for Brennan, or as the scheme progressed, FBI Director James Comey or Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, or members of Obama’s White House.
Nor did it matter, as they used the NY Times to tell us yesterday, for the 40 or so FBI investigators chasing their tails looking for the evidence they knew didn’t exist for at least the last two years.
No, it was never about finding the truth. The agents conducting the investigation admitted that yesterday.
It was always about creating a phony narrative of criminality on the part of Donald Trump and then using their contact in the complicit propaganda media to drive it into the consciousness of gullible Americans.
The agents began leaking during the initial FBI investigation and that continued right through the time Mueller wrapped up.
All leaks were done with the intention of damaging Trump by continuing to disseminate salacious but phony claims of newly discovered incriminating Trump ties with Russia.
And the surveillance they were conducting as a result of fraudulent representations to the FISA court yielded additional fodder with which to politically harm Trump.
From the official OIG report submitted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz:
Comey was running a biased political information dissemination operation.
When the special counsel was appointed, the same team of investigators moved from the FBI to join Mueller’s entrapment scheme team.
By this time everyone involved in the investigation knew that there had been no collusion. The lead investigator, Peter Strzok, acknowledged that much nearly two years ago:
But they kept leaking to the the media that they were closing in on proving Trump-Russia collusion – control of the narrative was critical – while Mueller did his best to goad President Trump in committing obstruction:
Once William Barr was sworn in as Attorney General, Mueller realized his reign of terrorizing Trump’s associates was over.
When Barr received the report he distilled his summary of the nothing investigation down to four pages. It deserved less than that. There was nothing to it but a fruitless effort to entrap our president in an obstruction trap.
Yesterday this unctuous group (approximately 40 strong) had the temerity to whine that they had lost control of the narrative. Boo hoo.
After nearly three years of lying to the citizens of this great country what in the world makes them believe they deserve to any longer control anything but the calendar on the wall of their prison cell.
When they did have control of the narrative they used it in league with the mainstream propaganda media to commit sedition against our duly elected president and the government he leads.
Now it’s our turn.
