I know what China is thinking. Joe Biden is the best president money can buy. It may have cost them some pretty big bucks but it’s paying off big time for China.
Joe Biden is prioritizing a trade agreement with China who holds a large trade balance against us while he is putting off a trade deal with Great Britain for at least three years.
Under Biden, our enemies make out much better than our friends.
Great Britain needs a trade deal with the United States badly after leaving the European Union. This is traitorous behavior by Joe Biden.
He is prioritizing China where we have a $26 billion dollar trade imbalance and delaying a trade deal where we benefit from a $9 billion dollar trade imbalance.
Maybe if we were to appoint Hunter Biden to the board of the USA INC, Joe would do something for Americans as long as we kick in some bucks for The Big Guy.
A former U.S. Trade Representative’s Office official (USTR), who has worked with Biden’s Trade Representative nominee told the British press that it could be three years before there is a trade agreement between our two countries.
There are currently no trade talks between our two countries. And from the sound of it there might not even be an agreement in four years of Biden.
Another former American trade official told the paper:
“They’re not going to pursue something that’s not essential to what he [Mr Biden] is doing. The UK has already asked us questions, what does this mean for us? I think there’s a chance it [a deal] doesn’t happen at all [under Biden].”
Former President Trump, a longstanding supporter of the pro-sovereignty Brexit movement, championed UK free trade agreement efforts during his presidency. However, amid persistent extensions to the official departure from the European Union, a general lack of emphasis by the British government, and ultimately the Chinese coronavirus, a deal was never signed.
Biden, for his part, has long expressed his opposition to Brexit and may be looking to fulfill former President Barack Obama’s warning that Britain would go to the “back of the queue” if the country voted for independence from the EU.
