ICYMI| Remember earlier this year when former First Lady Michelle Obama called herself our “Forever First Lady?” In case you missed it, back in May, we reported that Mrs. Obama was speaking at Temple University when she told the audience of students to keep composed during their “struggle.”
We reported at the time, “Mrs. Obama told the students that she was originally very nervous to leave her home in Chicago to attend Princeton University, and she assured them that this fear was normal.
She then went on to tell the students that hard work is imperative to be successful. She then made an extremely bold statement. ‘We have such high hopes for you. See, I am not one of those doubters. I know that you have everything it takes to succeed. I know you are me, and if I can be standing here as your forever First Lady, then you can do anything you put your mind to.’”
Yeah, she had the guts to call herself America’s “Forever First Lady.”
Now, the Gateway Pundit has reported that in front of an audience at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, this past Saturday evening, Mrs. Obama swore while speaking about the pressures of marriage. Isn’t she just the classiest?
The former First Lady said to the crowd, “Marriage still ain’t equal, y’all. It ain’t equal. I tell women that whole ‘you can have it all’ — mmm, nope, not at the same time, that’s a lie. It’s not always enough to lean in because that shit doesn’t work.”
Obama realized quickly that she had cursed when the audience began to applaud so she stated, “I thought we were at home, y’all, I was gettin’ real comfortable up in here. All right, I’m back now. Sometimes that stuff doesn’t work.”
She stood up and danced to Jay-Z and Beyonce at the end.
