The First Capitol ‘Rioter’ Has Been Sentenced … Is This Justice?⚠️

The first trial of a Capitol “rioter” has been found guilty and will have to serve eight months in prison for merely walking into the Capitol with a Trump flag. He did not vandalize anything, nor did he attack anyone. Prosecutors asked the judge to sentence him to 18 months in prison for Paul Allard Hodgkins. One woman pleaded guilty and received three years of probation.

Prosecutors claimed that Hodgkins “like each rioter, contributed to the collective threat to democracy”.Well if carrying a flag into the Capitol can destroy our Democracy, we are in worse shape than I thought.

The truth is the Democrats are the biggest threat to our Democracy. They are trying to destroy our country’s religious rights, the First Amendment, and the Second Amendment. They also want to defund the police.

Lawyers for Hodgkins claimed that the public humiliation Hodgkins is suffering should be enough punishment for their client. They don’t understand.

These trials aren’t aimed at justice. They have the sole purpose to cover up the $2 billion in damages incurred during the riots by BLM and antifa. Their plan won’t work because the Biden caliphate is allowing millions to invade the United States, financed by the American taxpayers.

Federal District Judge Randolph Moss said Monday:

“When a mob is prepared to attack the Capitol to prevent elected officials from both parties from performing their constitutional and statutory duty, democracy is in trouble. The damage that they caused that day is way beyond the delays that day. It is a damage that will persist in this country for decades.”

From The Daily Caller

Leduc argued in his filing that Hodgkins was “a man who for just one hour on one day lost his bearings” and “made a fateful decision to follow the crowd.” It also noted former President Abraham Lincoln’s attempt to reconcile immediately after the Civil War.

Though Hodgkins was never accused of assaulting anyone or damaging property, prosecutors noted that when he boarded a bus from Tampa, Florida, to D.C. he had rope, protective goggles and latex gloves, and said that demonstrated that he was prepared for violence.

Prosecutors also said, however, that Hodgkins deserved leniency for immediately coming forward and pleading guilty to his obstruction charge, which carries a maximum sentence of two decades. But they noted that “time and time again, rather than turn around and retreat, he pressed forward.”
