Less than 24 hours after warnings of terrorist attacks by Western governments to their people seeking escape from Kabul, the US Pentagon has confirmed a major explosion has occurred at a section of the town near the airport called Abbeygate. By 10:15 AM Eastern, at least 3 troops were confirmed dead and other causalities.

“Blood is on their hands. What is happening now with the 82 Airborne is going to shock people, and I am going to name – names soon,” Glenn Beck said Thursday morning after breaking down the details of what was being called a “suicide bomb”.
Early reports were that 11 people had been killed in the attack.

Glenn Beck reported that at the time of the explosion was the exact same time that America was removing the remaining men and women of the 82 Airborne from the region, signaling that everyone on the ground was going to be “left behind” at this point.

The American government has left a complex mess for people left on the ground. Beck mentioned in his morning program that there were planes full of people at the airport waiting to leave the area.
“This explosion could change everything when you hear what happened with the 82 airborne a little while ago,” Beck said on Thursday morning while talking about the explosion.
Thousands of people have fled to the airport area, where the Abbeygate is located, over the past 5-6 days to get a ticket out of the country and have been waiting in the area reportedly without food, water, or hygiene and health resources, creating a major humanitarian crisis.
“An explosion went off on Thursday outside the Kabul airport, where thousands of people have gathered to try to flee the country on Western airlift since the Taliban seized power earlier this month. The Pentagon confirmed the blast, with no immediate word on casualties.
Western nations had warned of a possible attack on Kabul’s airport in the waning days of the massive evacuation efforts.
Several countries urged people to avoid the airport, where an official said there was a threat of a suicide bombing. But just days — or even hours for some nations — before the evacuation effort ends, few appeared to heed the call.
Over the last week, the airport has been the scene of some of the most searing images of the chaotic end of America’s longest war and the Taliban’s takeover, as flight after the flight took off carrying those who fear a return to the militants’ brutal rule.
Already, some countries have ended their evacuations and begun to withdraw their soldiers and diplomats, signaling the beginning of the end of one of history’s largest airlifts. The Taliban have so far honored a pledge not to attack Western forces during the evacuation but insist the foreign troops must be out by America’s self-imposed deadline of Aug. 31.
Overnight, warnings emerged from Western capitals about a threat from Afghanistan’s Islamic State group affiliate, which likely has seen its ranks boosted by the Taliban’s freeing of prisoners during their blitz across the country.”
