28 Year Old MLB Player Found Dead

ICYMI| It sure seems like the pain just keeps coming in 2022.

We have been plagued by a rash of what seems to be an unprecedented number of professional athletes dying way too young.

Professional soccer has had many among their ranks perish this year:

American’s Frontline Doctors reported:

‘The Israeli Real-Time News Tuesday reported a 5-fold increase in sudden cardiac and unexplained deaths among FIFA players in 2021.

Since December, 183 professional athletes and coaches have suddenly collapsed, with 108 dead.

A Real-Time News investigation revealed that most of the athletes were males, with only 15 females, and the vast majority being 17-40 years of age. Only 21 are older (5 aged 42-45, six aged 46-49, 7 aged 51-54, and 3 others aged 60-64). 23 were teenagers, aged 12-17, of whom 16 died.

The investigation revealed in over 80 of the cases, such as football stars Sergio Aguero and Christian Eriksen, the athletes collapsed while playing, racing, or training, or immediately after. Scientific literature calls the phenomenon of athletes collapsing for reasons unrelated to injury rare.’

Now Major League Baseball is coping with the death of a 28 year old player.  To be clear, no cause of death has been released and we have no information that reveals the COD.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

‘The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Tuesday about the sudden and unexpected loss of 28-year-old bullpen catcher Jean Ramirez.

On their official Twitter account, the Tampa Bay Rays shared the tragic news with an image of Ramirez.

The Rays didn’t release any information on the nature of Ramirez’s death, which it said happened on Monday.

Kevin Cash, Tampa Bay Rays’ manager, expressed his condolences to Jean’s family and friends. He described Ramirez as an incredible teammate and friend.

“He brought so much passion and energy each day to our clubhouse and bullpen and his love for the Rays and baseball was evident to all who interacted with him. He had the biggest heart and most. infectious smile. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Jean will.be deeply missed.”

Erik Neander, President of Baseball Operations, also extended his condolences to Ramirez’s family and called his death an “unexpected and difficult loss.”

“Jean played in our organization and was most recently a bullpen catcher for our major league team. He was a caring teammate and friend. He exuded so much joy in all he did, and his kind heart was truly a gift to all. As we process this unexpected and difficult loss, we are grateful for the times we shared with Jean.”’

While there is a lot of speculation as to the cause of this untimely death, it would be irresponsible to speculate at this time.

Most importantly, our thoughts and prayer are with the family of the deceased and we pray that God brings them peace as quickly as possible.
