Rich Welsh| Steve Bannon, former Breitbart News executive and former Trump White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, has called out former Attorney General Bill Barr for being a “sell-out” who turned on President Donald Trump. He then issued a warning to Barr.
Bannon said, “Well, he’s Walter Mitty. He’s a nerd and been a nerd all of his life. He not only stabbed Trump in the back, he stabbed the nation in the back. On this hard drive from hell, what he did, he suppressed this information so that what the elites in our country were doing, compromised by the Chinese Communist Party and all of the situation in Ukraine, stealing money with both hands.”
He then warned the former AG that the truth is going to come out about what he did.
“Barr, it’s all going to come out. And we’re going to have a field day going into the details of what a total and complete scumbag you are. You had this in December 2019 [Hunter’s laptop] and you actively suppressed it from the people of the United States.”
Can you imagine? Why did Barr sit on it? The only reason I can think of was he didn’t want to help Trump or harm Joe Biden in the 2020 Democratic Primary race. Biden started his campaign in April 2019. Barr got the laptop in December 2019 and did nothing. If that were Eric Trump or God forbid Donald Trump Jr, you damn right well Barr would have started an investigation and it would have been front page news for a year.
Also, remember that Joe Biden was vice president under the Obama administration and remember he was made the point man by President Obama, in charge of curbing corruption in Ukraine’s government, and it turns out there’s a ton of evidence that he and his son Hunter were directly involved in corruption in Ukraine. A lot of the evidence is on Hunter’s laptop that Barr kept silent about.
“Don’t worry about joining a law firm,” Bannon said. “You better lawyer up. Nothing gets me worked up as much as these guys, the scum of the Bush, that are just complete filth and trash.” I wish Steve wouldn’t sugarcoat it and would tell us how he really feels. #Yikes
“And we’re going to do it with facts. We’re going to walk you through the facts of what Bill Barr knew and when he knew it. And Chris Wray [FBI director]. Throw Chris Wray into the pile too,” he said.
WATCH:
Wray has been a real disappointment. Barr and Wray are products of the DC establishment. Trump was the antithesis of the establishment. He tried to break the establishment and give the government back to the people.
Instead of wanting to get to the bottom of how the Russian collusion hoax got started, Wray sat on his hands and did nothing. The only good thing Barr did was made John Durham a special counsel to look into it. The FBI director is as useless as James Comey.
When you think about it, Barr came into the Trump administration to end the Mueller with hunt Russia Russia Russia investigation that would have lingered on until the 2020 election, of that I have no doubt. But he was still establishment.
In Barr’s book, he does call Trump out on some issues, but he also wrote not complimentary things as well.
Barr wrote that the country was “in no mood for four more years of Obama-era progressivism and Clintonian mendacity,” and Trump “deserves enormous credit for sparing the nation a Clinton presidency.”
Barr wrote:
“The collective meltdown of the political and cultural elite, together with the bewildered response of the mainstream media, was something to behold. Trump’s adversaries, powerful as they were, had no idea what to think. He had done it.
No tactic, no matter how abusive, was out of bounds if it helped destroy his administration.
The ends truly justified any means. Talk of impeachment began the moment he won office.
The survival of our democratic system depends on our capacity to transfer power peacefully through elections.
At a minimum, that means political leaders and the citizenry have to accept the results of elections and the legitimacy of duly elected governments.
I thought this was essential in 2016, just as I later thought it was in 2020.”
Barr also said that the group that referred to themselves as “the resistance” were the politicians and media people who thought of themselves as elitist rendering them as “beyond the pale,” saying, “It is typically used to describe an insurgency against an occupying military power and connotes an illegitimate government. Use of this word was grossly irresponsible, as was the media’s failure to censure it.”
And then on Tuesday, on Fox News’ “Special Report,” with Bret Baier, Barr said that it was disturbing for him to see former President Donald Trump’s “detachment from reality” after the 2020 presidential election. Read that story here.
