Erica Carlin| Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wasn’t about to be outdone by the likes of Biden. While the US groomer-in-Cheif advocated on banning .9 mm handguns, Trudeau was busy issuing an all-out ban on handguns,
“New gun control legislation the federal government tabled today includes a national freeze on the purchase, sale, importation and transfer of handguns in Canada — the government’s most ambitious attempt yet to restrict access to firearms in this country,” the CBC reported. “While the proposal falls short of a full ban on handguns, it would effectively limit the number of them in Canada.”
Trudeau claimed that the gun violence was on the rise so that meant it was his “duty to keep taking action.
“Last summer, during the campaign, some politician said they would make assault style weapons legal again,” Trudeau said. “Not only did we stand up to them, but we promised to go even further to protect our communities. We proposed to invest to help provinces and territories put restrictions on handguns within their jurisdictions.”
“However, in our discussions with law enforcement advocates and experts, it became apparent that we needed a different solution,” he continued. “We’re introducing legislation to implement a national freeze on handgun ownership. What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer or import handguns anywhere in Canada. In other words, we’re capping the market for handguns.”
Meanwhile, here in the US Biden was declaring a war on the most popular form of home defense—the .9 mm handgun. Biden claims that Americans don’t need that gun because it will “blows the lung out of the body.” In the same , crazy rambling Biden approved of the use of a .22 mm handgun but until when?
“They said a .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out — may be able to get it and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body,” Biden claimed. “So, the idea of these high-caliber weapons is, uh, there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of self-protection, hunting. Remember, the constitution was never absolute.”
