Biden to SHUT DOWN AMERICA’s Largest Oil Field Accounting for 40% of All Domestic Production

Joe Biden and his henchmen and henchwomen are moving toward shutting down the West Texas Permian Basin, which accounts for  95,000,000 gallons of gasoline per day or 40% of the oil produced domestically, through the EPA. If you think the price of gas is high now, what do you suppose the loss of that much oil will do to the price of gas? And remember, when we buy from the Middle East there are shipping costs as well.

This will just be one more move Biden makes in his attempt to bankrupt America. I wonder who he will blame this one on? He just blamed the Supreme Court for his popularity rating dropping just below AIDS. Putin will have to invade 2 or 3 more countries to cover this price increase. But don’t worry. If you can’t afford ten dollars a gallon for gas you can always buy a $60,000 electric car. There are 40,000 electric cars on the road. The rest actually made it home.

Former EPA Chief of Staff Mandy Gunasekara told reporters Wednesday:

“Even as Americans are struggling with $5 gas and record-breaking inflation, team Biden continues to double down on their political commitments to ‘end all fossil fuels.’”

According to a report by Bloomberg, regulators would have three years to propose solutions to the violations. The problem is that oil companies are not willing to make long-range investments since Biden has said many times that he is shutting down all fossil fuels.

From The Gateway Pundit

Texas Governor Greg Abbott reacted strongly to the proposal and called the EPA to drop the proposal.

According to a letter he sent to the administration Monday, Abbott pointed out the direct impact on the lives of Americans. Abbott pledged that if he did not hear back from the administration by June 29, he would take action to “protect the production of oil—and the gasoline that comes from it.”

Abbott called out the hypocrisy of the Biden White House, which has claimed empathy for Americans struggling to afford gas. He said that the EPA’s move would only make things worse for the nation.

The letter states, “You say that you want ‘to bring refineries back online to get more gas to the pump at lower prices…’ That goal… could be thwarted if the EPA is allowed to move forward with its discretionary regulatory process.”
