Trump Goads House Dems After State Dept. Reveals ‘Multiple Security Incidents’ Tied To Hillary: ‘Will They Investigate?’

Opinion| On Monday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich observed that the so-called wheels of justice do grind in Washington, D.C., but slowly.
The former Georgia Republican lawmaker made his comments in regards to “Spygate” and whether or not the Justice Department’s inspector general’s impending report about the origins of the scandal would finally name names and reveal other details not yet known.
“Over time, slowly, grindingly, lots of stuff comes out that smart people thought they could keep secret,” he told Fox News‘ “Fox & Friends” morning show.
True enough. After the first details emerged more than two years ago regarding the Obama administration’s attempt to undermine, then depose, a duly elected president, we have steadily learned more and more about the worst political scandal in the history of our country.
And this week, we’ve learned even more about how frequently POTUS Donald Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, endangered U.S. national security as she selfishly, and illegally, maneuvered to keep details of her activities hidden from the American people — by using a homebrew, unsecured email server, by destroying tens of thousands of emails Congress had subpoenaed, and other methods.
On Monday, the State Department revealed that officials have identified “multiple security incidents” involving current or former employees’ handling of Hillary’s emails. Further, the department issued at least 23 “violations” and seven “infractions” as part of its ongoing investigation into the abuse.
As Fox News reports, the information was contained in a letter to Sen. Charles Grassley, who is overseeing the department’s security review.
“To this point, the Department has assessed culpability to 15 individuals, some of whom were culpable in multiple security incidents,” wrote Mary Elizabeth Taylor, the State Department’s Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Legislative Affairs. “DS has issued 23 violations and 7 infractions incidents. … This number will likely change as the review progresses.”
For review, even the highly politicized former FBI Director James Comey noted in his infamous July 2016 press conference clearing Hillary of any criminal liability for mishandling classified emails that she did, in fact, do that crime.
“Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,” Comey said.
The revelations by the State Department didn’t escape the attention of POTUS Trump, who has been victimized by Obama loyalists within the deep state throughout his presidency.
