The writers with this show apparently don’t recognize that overturning Roe didn’t help to make abortion illegal. It basically turned the issue back over for the states where the decision constantly belonged in the first place. And no you are forcing a woman to get expectant, nor are they forcing those to have an abortion, so this hyperbolic “hostage” language is a bit preposterous.
Carina’s words were also pretty ironic, especially given that she has an ob/gyn, and a perhaps pregnant one at that.

Carina cherished celebrating new life. Nevertheless she’s so angry of which some states have made it illegitimate for women to take the physiques of their unborn children prisoner shackled and end their lifestyles via abortion that the lady can’t control her state of mind or maintain her professionalism and trust?
Sounds like her character need to find a new profession…and perhaps some therapy.
