April Ryan teams up with The View: Whine Republican leads midterm races

April Ryan, a fake journalist and rabid leftist, joined The View’s cackling gang to promote her new book. Ryan, a faux journalist and rabid leftist, praised her apparent neutrality while simultaneously rooting for Democrat Senate candidates across the country, including Stacey Abrams from Georgia.

Sarah Haines, co-host, started by complaining about “disinformation” and “lies” that she claimed were “running rampant” while her confidence in the media is actually at an all-time low. Ryan then asked Haines, “How do you deal with it?”

Ryan claimed her journalistic integrity. This is absurd considering anyone who knows her track record will know that she is a Democrat Party propagandist. “I always keep receipts.” Ryan insists that receipts are what young people call receipts.

Ryan complained that “the line between fact and opinion has been blurred, and people don’t know what they believe now, and it’s so much misinformation.”

Ryan pulled out her victim card and cried racism. She suggested that she was attacked because of her race.

Ryan quickly showed her true colors, proving to the world that she is a political hacker and not a journalist.

Ryan stated, “The baseline is that we have 299 GOP candidate who are election deniers and are in a lot more of these races than are too close to count,” in an attempt to denigrate the entire Republican field.

“Val Demings, it is too close to call. According to the latest poll I saw, Rubio is leading. Sherry Beasley, North Carolina. Two black women are running for the U.S. Senate. She is trailing the candidate there. Stacey Abrams trails Kemp in the gubernatorial elections there. Ryan remarked that the numbers were closer.

Ryan declared that black women would vote in elections to racialize them. We represent the largest black population that shows up at the polls.

Ryan stated, referring to the 2017 Alabama Senate Election, “We saved Alabama,”

Ryan finished her interview by congratulating Stacey Abrams for turning Georgia “blue” and fluffing her questions.

“Stacey Abrams is a winner, which is why there’s been such a fierce fight against her.” Ryan acknowledged that she didn’t win the gubernatorial race in the first round, but that she won this time was a testament to her ability to change the state from red-to-blue.

Abrams is actually disregarded because she spent the past four year pretending she won the 2018 Georgia governor’s race and falsely claimed the election was stolen by Republicans.

ALYSSA FARAH GRAFFIN: April, thank you so much for coming. We have something in common, having been called cruel and demeaning names by the former president. You were just doing your job as a journalist. How did you manage to balance that environment without making yourself the story? What advice would you give to aspiring journalists in an environment hostile to journalism?

APRIL RYAN – It’s a completely different era now. When I began my journey in journalism at Morgan State University, I learned how to ask the right questions and get the answers. Make sure you check your sources, et cetera, et cetera. You know, they didn’t tell you that I needed a shield and a combat hat when I entered the White House. You can see reporters being attacked now. It’s a different day, because it’s about an ideology which is pushing the First Amendment down and the press.

FARAH GRIFIN: Yes.

RYAN: The problem is that the American public has not learned enough about civics to realize that we are all part of the equation.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG : Yes.

RYAN: Many people want to forget American history and the U.S. government. They don’t apply it to today’s situation. For new reporters, please learn civics.

GOLDBERG: Yes.

RYAN: Please understand U.S. Government and U.S. History. It’s not about YOU. It’s all about the story. Be aware. Be very afraid

[Applause]

SARA HAINES : This speaks to your experience, but you also mentioned studying journalism in what I consider the old school, original journalism.

RYAN: Yes.

HAINES: Our times are characterized by disinformation and lies, and our confidence in the media is at an all-time low. Gallup’s recent poll found that only 34% of Americans trust major news organizations to report accurately, fairly, and fully on current events. 38 percent don’t trust any news organizations at all. How can a journalist deal with this?

RYAN: When I approach my job, or approach a story, I make certain I have receipts. What young people call receipts, I make it pour with receipts. I am the newsmakers and they are saying what I say. It’s not mine opinion. It’s their truth, you know? That’s the problem. People don’t know what they believe, so the line between fact and opinion has been blurred. As a black woman who has been vilified, it is my responsibility to present the facts so that you can’t refute what I say.

I believe any journalist would agree.

[applause]

RYAN: This is something that every journalist should know. It’s our responsibility now to make sure the American public understands that one, it’sn’t our opinion, and that two, this is what the newsmaker says.

RYAN: First, we have 299 GOP candidates that are election deniers and are in a lot these races that are too close for us to call. That’s the baseline. Val Demings, it’s too close to call. According to the latest poll, Rubio is ahead. Sherry Beasley, North Carolina. Two black women are running for the U.S. Senate. She is trailing the candidate there. Stacey Abrams trails Kemp in the gubernatorial elections there. The numbers are still close, so let’s move on to Warnock and —

[audience sighs]

RYAN: Warnock wins that one, though by a small margin. It was a small margin.

JOY BEHAR April, if there is a large turnout, I’m trying my best to get to the poll. The polls are meaningless if there is a large turnout.

RYAN: Black women turn out at the polls. We represent the largest black population that shows up at the polls.

BEHAR: Yeah.

RYAN: Alabama was saved, you know, by the Roy Moore situation.

SUNNY HOSTIN – And Georgia

RYAN: Georgia. Stacey Abrams. The reason there’s so much hatred for Stacey Abrams’ is that she’s a winner. Although she didn’t win the gubernatorial race in the first round, she won it again this time. Even if she doesn’t win, that black woman turned that state from red into blue. End of story. They are going after her because she is a winner. This is not conjecture. This is fact.
