Here we go again: Nets try to swarm Herschel Walker with more abortion claims

The liberal pals in the race for office are continuing to fall apart. Thursday’s broadcast networks spent nearly eight minutes (seven minute and 49 seconds) displaying a second supposed abortion allegation against Georgia Republican Senator Herschel Walker. With some help from Gloria Allred, far-left attorney Gloria Allred helped to boost incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock.

ABC, CBS, NBC, and NBC also found the time to support John Fetterman (D), who is mentally and physically disabled in his bid for Pennsylvania’s open Senate seat. This suggests that he was gaining momentum due to (and not because) of Tuesday’s debate performance.

“We now go to politics and with the final midterm elections just 12 days away. Herschel Walker faces a new abortion allegation at the key Senate battleground, Georgia,” declared George Stephanopoulos, ABC’s Good Morning America (GMA), co-host and ex-Clinton flack.

Rachel Scott, Congressional correspondent, was present on the case and emphasized the obvious fact that “It is not what Herschel Walker wants be talking about so close Election Day”.

“His campaign was rocked by controversy again. This time, it was a second woman. She said that Walker claimed to be against abortion but she paid for hers.” Scott added.

Scott ran with hit despite the lack of solid evidence linking Walker to the act. Scott was represented by Allred because “[t]he women is remaining anonymous because they fear retaliation”. The pair also “released a voicemail and a photo receipt with a card stating that it was evidence of Walker’s relationship, but not the actual abortion.”

These claims were made by Gayle King, CBS Mornings co-host and Democratic donor about Walker “in the middle of a very tight election that could help determine the Senate’s control.”

Nikole Killion, Congressional correspondent, exaggerated: “Herschel is doubled down on this claim, saying that it’s false.” The accuser insists that it is not politically motivated and claims she has proof.

Killion cited Walker’s denials and treated the accuser’s claims of fact as fact, even though Allred “didn’t present receipts from clinic” or “other evidence of the relationship.”

Killion, to her credit, admitted that Walker’s supporters were not intimidated by her on the campaign trail.

This Walker story was also featured on Today on NBC. Hoda Kotb, co-host, teased in a tease: “New accusations.” Another woman claims Herschel Walker encouraged her to have an abortifaction.

Hallie Jackson, chief Washington correspondent, stated that “the focus” was on Georgia where an abortion allegation is being made in one of the most closely watched matchups in the country.

“[T]here is now another twist. Jackson said that Republican Herschel Walker, who campaigned on an antiabortion platform, denied a new allegation by a second woman who claims Walker pressured them to have an abortion in early ’90s.

Jackson followed the lead of others on other networks by insisting that “NBC News hasn’t verified her allegations and she did not provide evidence Walker participated in her abortion.” But if you spend more time on something, isn’t that a suggestion that you’re taking it as fact?

Fetterman was the only network to indicate trouble. Stephanopoulos shared the following: “Fetterman acknowledged that the debate wasn’t easy” and “Democrats are increasingly concerned about the race.”

Scott followed Scott’s lead, stating that “his campaign tried lower expectations before the election” and that things remain “very close”.

CBS Mornings gave a brief, one-minute interview to Fetterman. Tony Dokoupil, co-host of CBS Mornings, stated that Fetterman “respond[ed]] to concerns from some regarding his debate performance on Tuesday night”, even though he received “a lot of support and has raised $2 million in the aftermath.”

NBC’s Jackson praised Fetterman’s campaign events, his fundraising haul, as well as proclaimed that Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Republican candidate, was “on defense against a New Democratic Ad” about abortion (click “expand”)

JACKSON

FETTERMAN: It wasn’t easy to have that discussion. [SCREEN WIPE] After a stroke, I knew it wouldn’t be easy. It took me five months to realize that.

JACKSON: Fetterman appears at a Pittsburgh campaign rally after raising $2 million. This was hours after he lost his only debate against Republican Mehmet O. Fetterman is facing questions about his slow and sometimes halting debate performance after suffering a stroke five years ago. Oz is also on the campaign and hammers the issue of crime as well as on defense against a Democratic ad that highlights his debate comments regarding abortion.

DEMOCRATIC AD NARRATOR – This is Dr. Oz’s choice for women’s health care decisions.

OZ [on 10/25/22] : I want women, doctors and local — political leaders. [REWIND] Local political leadership.
