OP ED: Well, well, well, imagine that, a politician, a successful one at that, seemingly getting caught in the middle of a gigantic lie, or what really, really, really appears to be one to me.
While making a campaign stop in Iowa, former Vice President under Barack Hussein Obama, Joe Biden told the press that he had not ever discussed his son’s business dealings with Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian oil company on which Biden’s son magicly received a board seat, despite, reportedly having little to no experience in the sector.
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Joe Biden grumpily snapped at reporters, seemingly not used to having to answer actual questions that dare to attempt to expose potential wrong doing on his part. In true Democrat/politician style Biden transitioned right into accusing President Donald Trump of abusing his power (can you say PROJECTION) and suggested that Mr. Trump directed and pressured the Ukrainian government to look into the alleged pay for play scandal.
But Mr.s Biden, if you did nothing wrong, why are you so concerned with being investigated. If innocent he should welcome the scrutiny as it will give him a chance to clear his name and remove this rain cloud from over his head.
Apparently, if you are a former VP and now running for office, it is unacceptable from the Biden’s POV, for anyone to look into allegations of potential crimes he may, or may not, have committed,. According to Biden, he is seemingly beyond reproach, and can not be investigated as he is running for the office of President of the United States.
It would be one thing if this was where the story ended, but it is not. Nor is the video of Biden seemingly confessing to the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor who was looking into his son. Breitbart reported that:
“Joe and Hunter Biden are contradicting each other about the extent of the former vice president’s knowledge regarding his son’s shadowy business dealings in Ukraine.”
…
“The former vice president’s claim, however, is contradicted by Hunter Biden’s own words on the topic. The younger Biden admitted during a series of candid interviews for a New Yorker profile published in June that he in fact had discussed his foreign business interests with his father on at least one occasion.
“Dad said, ‘I hope you know what you are doing,’ and I said, ‘I do’” Hunter Biden told the magazine.
The contradicting stories between father and son only underscore the multiple unanswered questions already plaguing the situation. At the center of controversy is how and why Hunter Biden was asked to join the Bursima board of directors in April 2014, despite not having any experience with Ukraine or the energy industry. Even more concerning to ethics watchdogs is the fact that at the same time Hunter Biden was tapped for the $83,000 a month job, his father was the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine.”
There are 3 sides to every story as the saying goes, his, hers and the truth. I imagine that the true story lies somewhere in the middle of what Trump is claiming/biden is seemingly admitting to on tape at the Council On Foreign Relations, and what Biden the elder is now saying.
I just have a feeling the candid Biden, who was caught on video when among his fellow globalists at the CFR, seemingly admitting to threatening Ukraine and dangling a billion dollar deal if they were not to fire the prosecutor, is a lot closer to the truth that the Biden who claims “I know nothing, I know nothing” as the old movie clip goes.
It’s gotta suck to get hoisted on your own petard by your very own son who you apparently/allegedly sold your position of power out to help. But hey, that’s politics for ya.
