top turnbuckle // Scott Johnson
Jesse Ventura, a former professional grappler and Minnesota Governor, has jumped off the top turnbuckle in support of Governor Tim Walz. My sense of the race between Walz, Dr. Scott Jensen and me is not good. But Walz may feel he needs support from independent voters.
Ventura endorsement is a wild card. Ventura was elected as an independent in 1998. He resigned for reelection after one turbulent term, when he was exposed to be a clown. His act was a bit stale 20 years ago. He now describes himself as an “independent statesman”.
One friend of mine voted for Ventura in 1998. He was embarrassed to be asked about it. Ventura is a nut well past his expiration date. This is a bizarre situation that smacks desperation. Ventura is seen fighting a losing battle against the script. Submitted for your entertainment value.
Quotable quote
It’s an honor! It was an honor to be endorsed @GovJVentura.
I am a committed governor for all Minnesotans and will work with anyone who is willing to cooperate with me to get things done.
Jesse, thank you for taking the extraordinary step to vote for me independently! pic.twitter.com/QABgPjFNX9

Jon Justice adds to this.
This is completely ridiculous. It’s @Tim_Walz @GovTimWalz and it’s hilarious. Timmy is so desperate. Today’s show will feature audio. #TCNT https://t.co/PqUyGaFVBk
