PRAVDA: The Taxpayer-Funded Voice of America Screeches Information May Spark ‘Election Violence.

The sky is falling! A leftist state media outlet uses its huge budget to spread propaganda about “disinformation” and possible “election violence.”

Voice of America, which is funded from taxpayers and boasted an annual budget of $257 million in FY2021, ran a bizarre story that read like a White House press conference. He stated: “State officials and local officials have reported seeing more calls to violence on social media, including threats towards election officials and calls for civil war.”

Seldin’s primary sources Biden administration flunkies like Alejandro Mayorkas, Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board mastermind and Department of Homeland Security Secretary, and Jen Easterly, Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency.

Seldin lied in the second paragraph, admitting that FBI and Department of Homeland Security officials “have not found any traces of specific or credible threats for the November 8th vote.” However, that didn’t stop Seldin’s election scaremongering. He reportedly grumbled, “You’ve got misinformation and disinformation, which can also be used by foreign adversaries by sowing discord among the American people to undermine trust in the integrity of our election and incite violence against election officials.”

Seldin also referred to Mayorkas’ comments, which propagandized that “[i]t is very sad state of affairs when electoral officials are concerned about their security. … We have received reports that a number election officials are concerned.

Seldin conveniently did not mention anything about the DGB under Mayorkas’ DHS, or how it was exposed for allegedly working with Big Tech companies like Twitter to target Americans.

To spice up his reporting, the Voice of America propagandist relied on DHS “officials” for comments. “‘Myriad conspiracy theories continue proliferate, along with various narratives associated mit false claims about [2020] election,” stated DHS Assistant Secretary Samantha Vinograd. Noting that those claims ‘have an historical basis in cementing clear, credible violence’, Vinograd said.

Vinograd is the same leftist Vinograd that once compared President Donald Trump with Adolf Hitler in a segment on CNN in 2019. She was a national security analyst at the network at the time. Seldin didn’t mention this little bit of objectivity-wrecking context.

Seldin stumbled again when he acknowledged that Biden’s Washington D.C. posse still haven’t found a direct connection between so-called “disinformation” and “violence,” but continued to push the government talking points anyway:

Although senior U.S. officials are yet to draw a direct connection between specific disinformation and cases of election violence, they claim there is no doubt that adversaries like Russia, China, and Iran have continually pushed for increased political tensions within the U.S. [emphasis on added].
