Youngkin was defeated by Terry McAuliffe, Democrat, in Luria’s 2nd District. Youngkin won eight percentage points. REPUBLICAN LIZ CHENEY SUPPORTS DEMOCRAT ABIGA SPANBERGER IN VIRGINIA’S 7TH DIVISION RACE In Virginia, House of Delegates elections in 2021 showed that there was a Republican shift despite President Biden’s victory over incumbent Donald Trump in 2020.
