Daily Chart: DeSantis’ Breadth // (Steven Hayward).
I posted this chart a few days ago showing the partisan split in education. Liberals love to talk about it. People with advanced degrees in gender studies or similar fields are especially affected.
Take a look at this NBC News exit poll from Florida. It shows Ron DeSantis has the majority of advanced-degree holder:
Chaser, Michael Barone
DeSantis won 16% support from black voters and carried 62 of the 67 counties. Hispanics accounted for 52% to 45%. He was the first Republican governor to win Miami-Dade County since Jeb Bush in 2002. He was also heavily Jewish in Palm Beach County and became the first Republican governor to win that area since 1986. He carried majority-Hispanic Osceola county, which includes part Disney World, at 53%-46%.
DeSantis won majority support from both men and women of all ages and income levels, as well from all religious groups (except Jews, who got only 42%), and those without religion (only 40%). Overall, the victory of DeSantis looks like the model for a durable national Republican majority that neither Trump nor George W. Bush were able to deliver.
