A friend pointed me to a Substack by Bad Cattitude, titled “the public healthcare czar has completely lost his plot.” He quotes Dr. Jha.

Diana Glebova, Daily Caller reporter, attempted to ask Fauci about his personal investigation into the origins of COVID. Fauci has been an integral part of coronavirus briefings ever since March 2020.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, stopped the briefing to reprimand Glebova — opening up the floor for more reporters to clamor Fauci to answer the question.

The briefing room erupted as journalists from other news outlets (including Al Jazeera, The Post) made their own requests for Fauci’s answers. Others claimed that the interruption was rude and disrespectful, arguing final briefings are often emotional sensitive forums.

Kimberly Halkett, Al Jazeera’s correspondent, asked: “Can we get an explanation?”

Fauci said that the Post needed an explanation on COVID origins. Dr. Fauci, why are we funding the EcoHealth Alliance? Why are they getting millions more dollars?”

“You should call on people from all sides. She has a valid question. She is asking about the origins COVID, and Dr. Fauci is the best person for the answer,” Simon Ateba of Today News Africa added.
