Stacey Plaskett, a Democrat from the Virgin Islands, has come under fire on social media for unintentionally mentioning that Donald Trump” needs to be shot” while discussing the investigation into classified documents. A Democrat Delegate to the House of Representatives, Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett( D-VI ), appeared on MSNBC’s Weekends with Jonathan Capehart on Sunday morning. The delegate made a mistake while speaking about the investigation into Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified U.S. documents during her appearance on the show.
It should be terrifying to all Americans for Trump to not only have the codes, but also to be allowed to release classified information for Americans and share it in his resort with anyone and everyone who comes through, and he must be shot and stopped, according to Plaskett.
Plaskett continued,” Of course, he’s going to have his day in court. Let’s keep in mind that his peers — individual Americans who reside in South Florida, a red state — indicted him because they believed there was likely reason for him to file this indictment and put him on trial.
The 57-year-old delegate also addressed the Republican party’s assertion that the” two-tiered system” of justice is to blame for the indictment of Trump.
According to Plaskett,” the two-tier system is never to punish them more.” To give Americans the impression that they are actually above the law, they want it to let them off the hook with more people than just regular Americans.

People started calling for her to be held responsible for saying this on television after a clip of Plakett’s interview started to go viral on social media. Some called for her to be detained, while others demanded that she be fired from her position.

Ryan Fournier, the creator of Students for Trump, even tweeted the video and said,” Lock her up!”
Plaskett’s error was addressed by liberal communicator Steve Guest, who remarked,” Imagine the outrage if a Republican said that about Democrat.”
Plaskett has consistently expressed her opposition to Trump in public.
” MAGA Republicans are a threat to the rule of law in America ,” Plaskett said last month.
Due to this, she managed Trump’s impeachment in the 2021 case, arguing that Trump was to blame for the events of January 6.
