Habib Battah and his wife were traveling from Paris to Toronto when they became aware of a foul odor coming from the area around their seats. The couple was able to switch seats and were horrified to learn what had caused the foul odor they had been exposed to for the full seven-hour flight.
Battah, a journalist, used his abilities to capture what happened during his flight. He said,” Look, all this blood, a whole bag of blood ,” as he held up the bag in the video clip. Let me demonstrate that all of this is blood by taking a look at it. It’s a risk. It poses a health risk.
An airline employee approached him as he was attempting to clean the blood from his belongings and surroundings and knelt down to pick up the bag of terrible cloths. ” I’m a journalist, so I document everything ,” he said to the employee.
Battah posted a video of himself and noted that his backpack strap was covered in blood. ” I spent a half-hour cleaning on my hands and knees. The @ airfrance staff provided me with gloves and additional wipes. Therefore they casually mentioned that a passenger had died on an earlier flight than ours.

Battah first questioned whether the smell was coming from the couple’s cats, according to Daily Mail.
It was our first time traveling with the cats, and I was thinking,” Oh god, they’ve had an accident, I’m so embarrassed ,” Battah remarked.
After checking on their animals and determining that their cats were healthy, Battah and his wife kept looking for the source of the odor. He claimed that before noticing a moist stain on the floor, he wondered if the smell was coming from another passenger. He was given wipes by a flight attendant, and when it kept turning dark, he questioned,” What the hell is this?”
” For the next seven hours, we had to sit there smelling the blood.” The blood had even seeped into his socks, according to Battah, who described his experience as saying,” The smell of rotten blood is like manure.” At the beginning of the flight, I had taken off my shoes, and there was blood on my socks.
After experiencing health problems on the flight, a passenger was admitted by Air France to being ill and in need of emergency care. According to a statement from the airline company,
” The passenger could never be moved because the flight was completely booked. To determine the causes of this situation, an inner investigation has been launched. ” The risk of exposure to residual traces of blood on the carpet is low, if not non-existent ,” the statement continued, trying in vain to downplay the unsanitary situation.
But, Battah learned three days later that the blood was also mixed with feces.
I’ve been covering Beirut as a journalist for 20 years, according to Battah, who believed he had seen it all. I’ve witnessed car bombings, airstrikes, assassinations, and wars. I also just avoided the port explosion. I believed I had seen it all. I didn’t anticipate finding more blood on an Air France plane than I did in Beirut.

Battah, a journalist, used his skills to document the events that took place during his flight. In the video, he held a bag up and said, “Look…All of this blood, an entire bag of blood.” Let me show you that this is all blood. Look at all this blood. It’s a danger. It’s a hazard to your health.”
A worker from the airline approached him as he was trying to clean the blood off his clothes and items. She bent down to pick up his bag of bloody cloths. He told the airline worker, “I am a journalist and I document everything.”
Battah tweeted a video of his footage, noting that his backpack strap had been soaked in red blood. “I cleaned on my hands, knees and feet for a half-hour. The staff at @airfrance gave me more wipes and gloves. They casually mentioned that a passenger had suffered a hemorrhage on a flight prior to ours.”

According to Daily Mail Battah first wondered if the smell was coming from the couple’s cats.
Battah said, ‘It was the first time we traveled with cats and I thought, “Oh God, they’ve been in an accident. I’m so ashamed.”
Battah and wife checked their cats and, after finding that they were fine, continued to look for the source of smell. He said that he first wondered if it was a smell from another passenger, before noticing the wet stain. He was given wipes by a flight attendant, but when they kept turning red, he asked, “What is this?”
“We had to smell the blood for seven hours.” Battah described his experience by saying, “The smell is like manure.” I had taken off my shoes at the beginning of the flight and there was blood in my socks.
Air France has admitted that a passenger was ill and needed emergency treatment on a flight. The airline company released a statement that said:
The flight was fully booked and it was not possible for the passenger to be moved. An internal investigation was launched to determine the cause of this incident. The statement continued, in a futile effort to minimize the unsanitary situation: “The risk of being exposed to residual traces on the carpet is very low, if it’s not non-existent.”
Three days later, Battah learned that the blood had also been mixed with feces.
Battah, a journalist for 20 years, said he thought he’d seen it all. “I have covered Beirut as a reporter for 20 years.” I’ve seen wars, airstrikes and assassinations, and barely survived the port explosion. I thought I had seen it all. “I didn’t think I’d see more blood on an Air France flight than I’ve seen at Beirut.”
