Migrant Child Labor Takes a 16-Year-Old’s Life

What is the destination of all the migrants who are crossing the border? Some will be able to work. regardless of their age. They are ending up in hazardous jobs that violate child labor laws, including in factories that produce goods for well-known brands like Cheetos and Fruit of the Loom, where they are arriving in record numbers.
roofers in Florida and Tennessee who are twelve years older. Workers in minor slaughterhouses in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Delaware. In South Dakota, kids worked immediately shifts sawing wood planks.
Grand Rapids, Michigan, was getting close to midnight, but everything was beautiful inside the factory. Cheerios bags were transported by conveyor belt past a group of younger workers. One of them was 15-year-old Carolina Yoc, who immigrated to the country on her personal next year to live with a relative she had never met.
She stuffed a sealed plastic bag of cereal into an empty bright carton every 10 seconds or so. With quickly moving pulleys and gears that had torn off fingers and ripped open a woman’s scalp, it could be hazardous work.
Young workers like Carolina, who had crossed the Southwestern border alone and were then working late hours over dangerous machinery in violation of child labor laws, were everywhere in the factory. When it isn’t calling for the destruction of America and Israel, Ben and Jerry’s is fairly forthright about its democratic and liberal stance on child labor. Ben & amp, Jerry’s, with Cheryl Pinto as its head of” values – led sourcing,” was the most brazen about the use of child labor, saying that” if migrant children needed to work full time, it was easier for them to have jobs at a well-monitored workplace.” It’s a debate that resembles something out of Oliver Twist.
Pinto, a former risk manager for its Unilever parent company, was referred to as” Ben & amp, Jerry’s sorceress” because of her emphasis on social impact. Children were lured to the ovens of an ice cream gingerbread house by the sorcery, which turned out to be of the Hansel & amp, Gretel variety. Understandably, deaths occur under these circumstances. How’s the most recent one. A 16-year-old boy who was killed in an on-the-job accident was a minor, the Mississippi poultry plant said on Wednesday.
The victim, a Mexican immigrant by the name of Duvan Tomas Perez, passed away on July 14 after getting caught in some machinery that he was cleaning, according to Mar-Jac Poultry. It’s the same old story. Companies hire contractors to perform labor. Everyone claims to have no knowledge, but we really know that there is a huge influx of minor migrant labor in factories. This time, cultural justice is the driving force behind it. Rich lefties and their paid activists scream while ignoring the Mediaeval reality they are implementing, saying that no human being is outlawed.

Where are all these migrants going? Some of them are going to the workplace. No matter their age.Arriving at record numbers, many of them end up in dangerous jobs which violate child labor laws.
Twelve-year old roofers in Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina. In North Carolina, Delaware and Mississippi, slaughterhouse workers under the age of 18 are employed. Children sawing wood planks on overnight shifts at South Dakota.
Grand Rapids was dark, but the factory was bright. A conveyor belt was moving bags of Cheerios by a group of young workers. Carolina Yoc, 15, came to the United States last year on her own to live with an unknowing relative.
She stuffed a plastic bag of cereal about every 10 seconds into a yellow carton that was passing. It was dangerous work with the fast-moving gears and pulleys that tore off fingers and ripped a woman’s head open.
Ben & Jerry’s is the company that has been the most open about its liberal and progressive attitude towards child labor. Cheryl Pinto’s head of “values led sourcing” stated that “if migrant kids needed to work full-time, it was better for them to be at a well monitored workplace.” This argument sounds like it could have come straight out of Oliver Twist.
Pinto, a former Risk Manager for Unilever, was dubbed the “Ben & Jerry’s Sorceress”, who focused on social impact. The sorcery was of the Hansel & Gretel type, with children being lured into the ovens of a gingerbread ice cream house. Deaths are unsurprisingly common in these conditions. Here’s another one. A Mississippi poultry plant said that it was unaware that a 16-year old boy who died in an on-the job accident was a minor.
Mar-Jac said that the victim, a Guatemalan named Duvan Tomás Perez, died on July 14, after becoming entangled in equipment he was cleaning. It’s a familiar story. Companies outsource their labor to contractors. We know, despite everyone’s claims to the contrary, that there is a flood of migrant workers underage in factories. This time it’s all done in the name social justice. Wealthy lefties and their paid activist scream that no human being is illegal while ignoring Dickensian realities they are implementing.
