45-year-old Ed Frederick wanted to let Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer how he felt about her.
He took an hour to study the flight path needed for his little note to the governor near the Grand Rapids are.
People in Michigan are livid over the edicts put forth by Whitmer and protesting has become part of daily life in Michigan.
As a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan, I usually don’t sympathize with the people of Michigan but in the case I have no choice.
But, the businesses that have been forced to close and their employees who have lost their means of support.
I’m betting many people in closure states are living on their credit cards and applying for loans from their retirement accounts.
They will come through this, but what will the aftermath look like, especially after Whitmer extended the lockdown to at least May 28th.
Frederick said:
“The government, no matter Democrats or Republicans, always seem like they’re trying to do something just to prove they’re doing something, without weighing the ramifications,” the small business owner told the Post, emphasizing that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic hasn’t “been an issue for a lot of people in the rural counties.”
“[Whitmer] says this is for the safety of Michigan, but I think it’s for the safety of her keeping her votes, because the southeast is highly democratic. I don’t need the government to wipe my tushie every two minutes. Let me know what the problems are going to be and let me know what the ramifications are; I’m responsible for myself.”
So, to send a message to Whitmer in Lansing, Frederick got in his plane and after some very tricky maneuvers, he wrote a giant FU with an arrow pointing towards the governor’s mansion.
