Some people are having trouble finding food and shelter, and Gaza is out of clean water and electricity. According to Phillippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency, the organization that supports and provides charitable assistance to Palestinians, it has” become a matter of life and death.” It is imperative that fuel be delivered right away to Gaza in order to provide water for two million people.
In the name of self-defense, Israel is trying to justify what would amount to tribal cleansing, Francesca Albanese, a UN expert on Israeli human rights, warned on Saturday.
Following a massive attack on Israel by Hamas, the organization that rules Gaza, next Saturday, almost half of Gaza’s population has been displaced over the past week. Since a total blockade started on Friday, the isolated area has never received any charitable aid. According to estimates, more than 1,300 Israelis and 1,900 Palestinians perished in the war that broke out following the surprise attack a week before. Residents are running away but have nowhere to go as the ground invasion is about to start.
Several British lawmakers and other officials have made an effort to show their support for Israel in the interim. President Joe Biden stated next week,” But, in this moment, we must be absolutely clear: We stand with Israel.” We support Israel. And we’ll see to it that Israel has everything it requires to protect its citizens, defend itself, and repel this attack.
In an effort to win over support for Israel, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is on a tour of the Middle East, visiting at least seven nations. Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Senate Majority, is on a nonpartisan mission to Israel to meet with the country’s leaders and offer his support for the nation. According to Schumer, having a republican delegation led by the majority leader who firmly and unmistakably declares their support for Israel will have significant effects on Israelis. Democratic senators Bill Cassidy( La.) and he will both be present. and Democratic senators Jacky Rosen ( Nev. ) and Mark Kelly( Ariz. ), as well as Mitt Romney( Utah ).
Democrat lawmakers in the House apparently got into a fight over who should support Israel. And today, two far-right Republican lawmakers, Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin and Andy Ogles of Tennessee, announced plans to introduce legislation prohibiting Palestinian refugees from resettling in the US on the conventional website Breitbart. The” Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission Act,” also known as the GAZA Act, would prevent the Biden administration from issuing visas to people using passports from the Palestinian Authority to flee the conflict.
Tiffany wrote on X, the previously known as Twitter platform, on Saturday,” We can’t let President Biden abuse our parole and visa rules to bring unvetted Palestinians into American communities the way he did with thousands of unschecked Afghans.”
We cannot allow President Biden to violate our parole and visa laws by allowing unscreened Palestinians to enter British communities in the same way that he did with thousands of unchecked Afghans.

Tiffany and Ogles are apparently introducing the legislation to prevent similar resettlement in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war, while Biden assisted in resettling thousands of Afghan refugees.
However, there is a barrier that the lawmakers must overcome before their legislation can be implemented: House Republicans have been unable to elect another speaker since the removal of previous House Speaker Kevin McCarthy earlier this month. It is therefore unable to carry out any parliamentary work. The United Nations is warning of an intensifying humanitarian crisis as hundreds of thousands of Gazans have fled their homes in response to Israel’s warnings of a large ground invasion. Gaza has no electricity and is running out of fresh water, and many people are having trouble finding food and shelter. ” It has turned into a life-or-death situation.
