Former ADL Intern Caught Ripping Down Posters of Kidnapped Israelis

Posters in the” Missing Persons” style depicting some of the people taken hostage by Hamas and held as hostages in Gaza have appeared in Israeli communities and in open spaces across the nation. And Hamas backers have started tearing them down. There have been video recordings of some of those. Additionally, it frequently occurs on college campuses. Who would act in such a way? Obviously a former intern for the ADL. An activist” really excited about fighting racial profiling” is one of the NYU students who boldly tore down posters of Israeli hostages. She attributed her actions to unwarranted rage.
A junior at the prestigious university named Yazmeen Deyhimi, who had previously worked for the Anti-Defamation League, admitted to tearing apart banners that had been hung outside NYU’s Tisch Hall in a brazen act that was captured on camera.
After the incident sparked outrage on social media and calls for the school to hold the perpetrators responsible, Deyhimi revealed the truth on her Instagram account.
In these extremely turbulent times, she wrote,” I have found it extremely difficult to know where I belong as a mixed colored woman.” She has mastered the woken patois. The ADL has also mastered the art of recruiting foes. Deyhimi, who is an opponent of Muslim bigotry, is listed on her LinkedIn profile. When she was only 15 years old, she spent a summer working with the ADL at the position of CSC Education Intern.
According to an ADL spokesperson,” after review, we can confirm that one of the participants participated in a summer internship at the large school level in 2019.”
” We wholeheartedly condemn her actions and hope that the apology she gave is the first step in addressing the harm and serious hurt she caused.”
While Jonathan Greenblatt has performed admirably during the current crisis, I cautioned that the changes he made to the ADL have actually infected the group with extremists who hate Israel and Jews. Deyhimi is listed as one of the 12 student leaders joining the program and is described as” really passionate about fighting racial profiling and championing gender equality.” When Greenblatt eventually took over as the voice of reason in comparison to the ADL staff earlier this year, that was on display. That was just brought home when” Jewish Currents ,” a website based on the Socialist publication that supported the rape and murder of Jews during the Hebron Massacre, published audio from an ADL employee-criticized BDS and anti-Israel movement chat.
To Greenblatt’s credit, he finally responds,” If you still feel that you can’t reconcile the fact that anti-Zionism is antisemitism, then maybe this is not the place for you ,” when asked if the ADL has any positions for those who oppose Israel. If you’re paying attention and don’t agree with what I’m saying, that is. Do you believe it is acceptable to deny Jews their rights? Once more, I don’t believe there is anything wrong with the statement,” You know what, this is not the place for me.” The ADL must clean the house immediately. The organization is unable to carry out its primary mission because it has become a common woke diversity outlet. The ADL took a long time to focus on documenting antisemitism after the Hamas attack, but it has been delayed and clumsy. Despite Greenblatt’s appearance on some chat shows, the ADL has lost sight of its unique goals and is led by leftists who constantly despise Israel and Jews and believe the organization should be about BLM, transgender rights, and Islamophobia. Some on the Left have been awakened by the response to the Hamas butchery. However, I don’t think the ADL will change as a result of it.

In Jewish communities and public places across the country, posters in the style of’missing persons’ depicting some of the hostages and kidnapped people held by Hamas in Gaza have appeared. Hamas supporters are tearing down the posters. Some of these have been captured on camera. Who would do such a stupid thing? A former ADL intern.
Yazmeen deyhimi, a junior at NYU who was once employed by the Anti-Defamation League, admitted to tearing down banners outside Tisch Hall in a shameless and videotaped act.
Deyhimi revealed the truth on her Instagram after the incident sparked social media outrage and calls for the school’s perpetrators to be held accountable.
She’s mastered wokeness patois. The ADL is a master at hiring enemies. According to her LinkedIn profile Deyhimi was a CSC education intern with the ADL when she was 15 years old.
A spokesperson for ADL confirmed to The Post that “after review, we can confirm one of the participants participated in an ADL high school level summer internship” in 2019.
“We condemn her actions and hope the apology she issued will be the first step in working to repair the deep hurt and harm her actions caused.”
Jonathan Greenblatt may have performed well during the current crisis but I warned that his changes to the ADL had infected it with extremists who are anti-Israel and anti-Jewish. This was evident earlier this year, when Greenblatt became the voice of reason in comparison to the ADL staff.
Greenblatt, to his credit, finally stated, when asked if the ADL had a place for antisemitic employees, “if you feel that you can’t square your mind around the fact that antisemitism is anti-Zionism, then this might not be the place for you.” If you hear what I say, but you don’t agree, then maybe this isn’t the place for you. You think it is okay to deny Jews the right to vote? Again, I do not think there is anything wrong with saying “You know what? I don’t believe this is the right place” The ADL needs to clean up its act. The ADL’s transformation from a woke diversity outlet to a generic organization has rendered it incapable of fulfilling its core mission. The Hamas attack acted as a wakeup for the ADL, which slowed down and stumbled in its efforts to perform its primary task of documenting antisemitism. Greenblatt’s appearance on some chat shows aside, the ADL is staffed with leftists that think the organization should be about BLM and transgender rights and Islamophobia and actively hate Israel. I’m not hopeful that it will result in change within the ADL.
